Northside Car Keys are proud to announce that we have now been accredited as a licensed Mitsubishi Workshop. We can now perform Mitsubishi key programming using an identical process to Mitsubishi themselves.
Why is this exciting?
Mitsubishi Models 2022 and newer have special Security Gateways incorporated into their security system. This is great for car key security, but means more difficulty for non-genuine diagnostic equipment to communicate with these vehicles. To offer smart key replacements, we previously needed to remove and physically connect to the ECU buried within the car – a time-consuming process that is costly to our customers.
Now, we at Northside Car Keys can program replacement smart keys diagnostically (ie, by plugging into the car’s OBD2 port) rather than dismantling part of the dashboard to access the ECU. This new process is much faster and less invasive than previously, translating to savings for our customers!

Another exciting thing about this development is that we can offer both genuine Mitsubishi smart keys AND aftermarket smart keys to Brisbane residents in need of a replacement car key.
